Richard William Nystrom, 77, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a retired Navy quartermaster chief who served in the Vietnam War, died in Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. He was born in Kearny, N.J. He is survived by companion Marciana Turner, son Richard, daughters Cindy Delaney and Lisa Kingsley, and seven grandchildren. Private services.
