75Douglas Joseph "DJ" Arruda Jr., 42, of Keaau, Hawaii, a custom bike builder and a mechanic and welder, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by companion Meagan Masaoka; son Douglas J. III; daughters Mallory Waugh-Arruda and Daezon and D'yante Arruda; stepdaughter Bryanne Sagon; parents Douglas Sr. and Annette; brother Tyson; sister Roxanne Snedeker; and grandparent Raymond F. Estrella Sr. Visitation: 4 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo.
