YOSHIKO SHINSATO Yoshiko Shinsato, age 89, passed away on April 4, 2013. Born May 27, 1923 in Kapaa, Kauai. She is survived by husband, Katsumi Shinsato; son, Melvin (Sookie) Shinsato; daughters, Karen (Glenn) Tamayoshi, and Andrea (Wayne) Oshiro; brothers, Sunko, Teruo, and Seisun Shimabukuro; sister, Fujiko Shimabukuro; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Eunice (Edwin) Nose; and brother, Sume Shimabukuro. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 5:00 p.m. Casual attire, no flowers.
