A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at age 77, Sunday, April 14, at Kaiser Hospital She was born to the late Mohei and Koyuki Yamamoto of Makawao Maui. An alumni of Makawao Elementary Maui High School and Honolulu Business College She was a dedicated Federal employee of 43 years with the Dept of Navy, Army and the United States Postal Service. And devoted endless hours assisting her husband at their business AKYTH Inc She leaves her loving husband of 53 years Owen Akito, son Jon (Judy), daughter Ann (Ian) Ishibashi, grandchildren, Chris, Kimberly and Grayson, sisters Clara Yoneda, Yukie Iwaishi, Amy (George) Iwamasa, Miyuki (Ken) Kimura, Hanami (Satoru) Matsuda, Kazue Kadosaki, Koyumi Oda Memorial Service at Hosoi Garden Mortuary, Thursday, May 2, 2013 visitation at 5:00 pm, service at 6:00 pm.
