Hatsuaki "Yama" Yamashiro, 86, of Honolulu, former owner of Yama's Market and an Air Force veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai. He is survived by wife Jeanette S.; sons Jon K. and Alan J.; stepson Scott H. Kosaki; stepdaughters Liane C. Kosaki, Jill D. Staffelbach, Cathy M. Yanger and Carol A. Yamashiro; sister Fusae Ito; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Private services.
