Albert Lauro, 74, of Waipahu, formerly of Hawaii island, a retired carpenter and a Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, died at home. He was born in Paauilo, Hawaii. He is survived by son Albert Jr.; daughters Roxanne Kamelamela, Angela Kealoha and Alberta Lauro; brothers David, Joseph and Daniel; sisters Lorraine Yadao, Violet Bueno, Linda Tengan and Sally Visaya; hanai sister Sophie Aiona; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Scattering of ashes to follow. Casual attire. Lei welcome.
