DWAYNE G. MATTOS
DWAYNE G. MATTOS Age 42, of Honolulu, passed away May 23, 2013. Born on September 16, 1970. He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Marjorie Mattos; sister, Christine (Phil) Loomis; fianc�, Healii Heine; nephews Noah and Jonah Loomis; grand- mother, Mildred Clark; numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins. He was a Construction Inspector with Community Planning & Engineering, Inc. Dwayne was a former Maryknoll Grade School student, 1988 graduate of St. Louis School and 1993 graduate of Hawaii Pacific University (HPU), where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He was an avid sports fan, but baseball was his passion. He started playing in the Lakeside PAL league as a six year old, then continued to play ball at St. Louis, University of Portland, and HPU. He was always proud of the athletes he coached on the Maryknoll girls softball and boys baseball teams, St. Louis baseball teams, and most recently, Manoa Little League teams. Dwayne's other hobbies included cooking for family and friends and fishing. He will be missed by many for his smile, generosity, and caring nature.
