Jack Y. Kaneshiro, 88, of Honolulu, a mechanic and an Army retiree, died in Hale Pulama Mau. He was born in Kahuku. He is survived by sons Newton Akiona and Dane Kaneshiro; daughter Brenda Orian; brother Walter; sisters Sarah Miyamoto, Dora Higa and Eunice Chun; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
