Richard William Schwarz, 87, of Kaneohe, a history teacher and administrator at Andrews University in Michigan and a Navy veteran who served in the Pacific theater during World War II, died at home. He was born in Galesburg, Ill. He is survived by wife Joyce F., sons Rick and Dwight, daughter Connie Smith, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
