Theodore "Ted" Yamate, 91, of Princeville, Kauai, retired business owner of Hobby Shop and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Veterans Affairs Community Living Center, Honolulu. He was born in Koolau, Kauai. He is survived by son Gregg, brother George, sisters Satomi Akama and Adeline Daida, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
