79Benjamin Rodriguez Fernandez, 84, of Waimea, Kauai, a retired horticulturist with Kauai County Parks and Recreation, died in Kauai Care Center. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Marie L.; sons Ben, Donald and Eddie; hanai son Stanford Lanias and William De Silva; daughters Rose White, Alice Burroughs, Juanita Rivers, Betty Ann Corniel and Clarissa Hosino; brother Tony Fernandez; sister Alice Mendez; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
