MARGARET HARUKO KOMURO (February 7, 1917 - May 25, 2013) Margaret Komuro, 96, born February 7, 1917 in Imperial, California passed away peacefully on May 25, 2013 in Arvada, Colorado. She requested that there be no funeral service. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Tomoji and Sachi Sonoda; her sisters, Mary Sonoda and Louise Sonoda; her first husband, David Yamaka; her second husband James Komuro. She is survived by sister, Pearl Sonoda; daughters Patricia (Ray) Nakata, Betsy Sato; stepchildren Kay (Marsh) Youngbluth, David (Debi) Komuro, and Judy (John) Codrea; grandchildren Kirsten (Loren) Lew, Kerry (Patty) Yamaguchi, Jill (Dennis) Takata, Heather (Roger) Yago, David Codrea; and eight great grandchildren. Margaret was active at Harris United Methodist Church in Hawaii and Simpson United Methodist Church in Colorado. Margaret had fond memories of the caring and enjoyable friendships made during her long and productive life.
