CARL SHOICHI HAGA January 10, 1937 - April 19, 2013 Carl Haga passed away April 19, 2013 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carole and three children, Colleen Inaba (Alson); Craig (Denise) and Caroline Wendt (Philip) and grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Inaba, Miya and Mari Haga. He is also survived by sisters, Eunice Fujimoto (Gilbert) and Janet Wong (Edward). Carl attended Mid Pacific Institute and then graduated from Northwestern University and Northwestern Dental School. He also received a Master's of Science Degree at Northwestern University and was the first trained Endodontist to practice in Hawaii. Upon his return to Hawaii, he helped found Endodontic Associates from which he retired after 40 plus years of service. Carl was a family man, avid golfer, loved to eat, drink fine wine and travel. He will be remembered most for his contributions to the Dental Community, his fun loving personality and zest for life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Donations will be made to REHAB at Nuuanu and Mid-Pacific Institute. A memorial service and a celebration of his life were held.
