EDWARD KIYOSHI HARADA
Edward Kiyoshi Harada was a gentle, compassionate, and generous husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born in Honolulu on May 12, 1932, and passed away on June 15, 2013. Edward leaves behind wife, Jean; daughters, Dana Nagaishi (Raude) and Leigh Jusuf (Francis); brother, Richard; sister, Janet Kamasaki (Takashi); brother-in-law, Leonard Nagata; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Maya, and Noelle. In Hilo, he worked as Chief Engineer for the County of Hawaii, and then as Manager at M&E Pacific, Hilo office. Edward was an avid baseball fan and golfer. A funeral service will be held at the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin on July 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. A memorial service will also be held in Hilo at the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin on July 12, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. No monetary gifts.
