Roy A. Forbes, 87, of Hilo, a retired industrial relations director for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and an Army veteran, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Allie S.; stepson Kim Lorch; daughters Lee Ann Wohlgemuth and Jeannie Hanson; stepdaughters Robin Racoma, Wendy Turk and Kerry Lorch; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation:10 a.m. Saturday at Hilo United Methodist Church. Services:11 a.m. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Hilo United Methodist Church or the Hilo Medical Center Foundation.
