EARLE JACK DYE JR. May 18, 2013. Earle Jack Dye Jr., 72, of Kamuela, Hawaii, a retired Honolulu Police Department sergeant, director of security for Mauna Kea Beach Resort and a rancher, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Gwen; sons, Earle III, Kaipo and Beau; daughter Andrea Dye-Tupe; brother Kenneth; sister Carol Valant; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: Visitation 9:00 am. Services 10:00-11:00 am. June 29 at Bishop Memorial Chapel, Kamehameha Schools campus. No flowers please.
