75Katsuko "Helen" Otani, 97, of Hilo, a retired papaya packer at the former Mr. Papaya Co., died at home. She was born in Puunene, Maui. She is survived by son George; daughter Pearl Y. Lueftner; brothers Robert and Richard Ishihara; sisters Thelma Botelho, Lillian Ho and Sue Tanabe; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
