Dudie Ono Kaohi, 92, of Kalaheo, Kauai, an Army veteran who served in World War II and a retired Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co. foreman, died at home. He was born in Hanapepe, Kauai. He is survived by sons Wayne and David; daughter Debra; caregivers Larry and Valerie Freitas; brothers Clarence and Ronald; sisters Mercedes Ching, Betty Kaleohano and Arlene Naholoholo; five grandchildren; a hanai grandchild; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Hanapepe Hawaiian Congregational Church. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
