72Alexander Kapilialoha Hewett Jr., 61, of Kaneohe, an automobile pinstriper, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Nicholas Starrett; daughters Heidi Curtis, Kristy Johnson and Shanelle Starrett; mother Alice; brothers Frank K., James "Liko," John, Joseph and Jeffrey; sisters Evalyn "Tida" Witt, and Jorene and Emma Hewett; and seven grandchildren.
