William Wallace "Bill" Ruiter, 87, of Honolulu, an industrial engineering professor, owner of Ruiter Imported Motors and an Air Force pilot who served in World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Albany, Ore. He is survived by wife Nancy A., sons Karl and Roy, daughter Christina Names, brother Richard "Dick" and five grandchildren. Private services.
