John Patrick Gill Jr., 69, of Ocean View, Hawaii, a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by brother Charles and sisters Pamela Welham and Patricia Blank. Inurnment: 2 p.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
