Russell Roland Yoshiaki Kahakauila Tiffany
RUSSELL ROLAND YOSHIAKI KAHAKAUILA TIFFANY God's special gift, skied to Heaven Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. Two years ago, Russell got hooked on skiing at Mt. Charleston, and decided to pursue his dream of becoming a professional park skier, moving to Mt. Hood, Ore. this past October. Born Aug. 29, 1989, in Fremont, Calif., he lived most of his life in Hawaii and Las Vegas. He excelled in everything he did, soccer, baseball, basketball, playing football and volleyball for Rancho High School, where he graduated in 2008. He loved body boarding, was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and an amazing paintball player. Russell earned the first full-ride scholarship to University of Arizona for paintball, but decided snow was his life. He loved singing, acting, writing music and playing his guitar. Quite the entrepreneur, Russell started Irie Skis. He passionately custom-made T-shirts and wished to eventually give profits from his company to injured athletes without insurance. Russell will always be remembered for his constant smile, his free and pure spirit, quick wit, good heart, bravery and his love of God, nature, family, friends and life. His crazy humor always made people laugh. Russell touched and inspired people everywhere through a good debate or an act of kindness. He would always tell everyone how "chill" his little brother was and how much he loved him. Just days before he died, he was so excited to get moving on Irie products and his new company of filming and editing on his new Go-Pro camera. One of his last words to his mom were, "I found my home. I love this place and if I die now I am in Heaven." He was preceded to heaven by his grandfather Russell B. Tiffany. He is survived by his mother, Janice; brother, Nicholas; father, Russell J. Tiffany, grandmother Nettie Tiffany and grandparents Roland and Mary Yasuda. A candlelight vigil, organized by his Mt.
