Stanley Masanori Yara, 72, of Pearl City, an Army veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice West. He was born in Lanai City. He is survived by wife Judy S.; daughter Kathy M. Yara-Higashionna; brother George M.; sisters Judith C. Nakashima, Ruth M. Oishi, June F. Asato, Laura S. Komoda and Jennifer S. Watanabe; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
