John M. Joyce, 79, of Keaau, Hawaii, a merchant seaman and Air Force and Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died at home.He is also a retired journeyman carpenter and painter. He was born in Bayonne, N.J. He is survived by wife Rosita A.; sons Glenn R. Sambueno and Michael A. and James Joyce; daughters Barbara Alcos, Theresa Kamakawiwoole, Debra Evangelista, Darlene Linares, Robin Sensano and Crystal Kunishige; 27 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Visitation:10 a.m. July 27 at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life:11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
