72Emma Carpio, 76, of Kapaau, Hawaii, an employee at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Island Harvest, died at home. She was born in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan, Philippines. She is survived by husband Casimiro; sons Albert and Jose; daughters Lucila Rositano, Leila Kehoe and Catherine Furukado; sister Felina Llapitan; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. All-night vigil: 4 p.m. Friday at the family residence, 54-367 Union Mill Road, Kapaau. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hawi. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Casual attire.
