Alpheus Hilai, 71, of Honolulu, an elementary school teacher in Majuro, Marshall Islands, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Majuro. He is survived by wife Kotak; son Resent and Freddy James; daughters Susan Daniel, Refina H. Kamram, Eileen H. Lokbo and Hellen, Kobi, Connie, Gindy and Jennifer Hilai; brothers Jolet Hilai and Matto Joseph; and sister Rimol J. Joseph. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Oahu Cemetery Chapel.
