Howard Kawehi Lono, 78, of Honolulu and Seattle, a retired youth corrections officer and owner of Halau Hula O Lono, died in Washington. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Emily "Manuiki," sons Rory and Rodrick, daughters Roxanne Lono-See and Rozlyn Lono, hanai sons Kalei Kahala and Kalae Aiko, hanai daughters Pikake Aroquiame and Noelani Keawe-Aiko, brothers Allen Butler and Anthony "Tony" Nahoi, sisters Annette Kalai and Jacqueline "Jackie" Lund, 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimanalo Ward. Services at noon. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Casual attire.
