John Texeira, 92, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired dispensary bus operator and truck driver at the former Puna Sugar Co. and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Keaau. He is survived by sons Michael J. and Alan E., daughter Sharon Chong, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
