74Leatrice A. "Lea" Tamashiro, 86, of Kaneohe, a state Department of Education secretary, died in Ann Pearl Nursing Facility, Kaneohe. She was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Ichiro, a son, daughters Joyce Takahashi and Judy Tamashiro, numerous brothers and sisters, and four grandchildren.
