Matao Nihei, 86, of Honolulu, a retired Department of Defense electronics technician at Fort Shafter and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Makawao, Maui. He is survived by wife Alice A., son Clayton, daughter Dora Miyagi and four grandchildren. Private services.
