Clarence Ho‘opi‘i, 74, of Wailuku, a retired Army explosive ordnance disposal technician, died. He was born on Maui. He is survived by wife Magdalen "Maggie"; son Kalani; daughters Yvonne Medeiros, Michele Ho‘opi‘i and Lynette Ramos; hanai daughter Trisha Simpson; brothers Norman and Gilbert; sister Bernie Kekona; hanai sister Taulua Moimoi; and eight grandchildren.
