BESSIE MIN SHON 93, passed away peacefully at Pohai Nani Good Samaritan in Kaneohe on Sunday, August 11th. Born in Paia, Maui, Mrs. Shon graduated from Queen's Hospital School of Nursing, and received her CRNA at University of Ohio in Cleveland. She was a nurse anesthetist at Queen's Hospital for many years before taking a position at Kona Hospital on the Big Island of Hawaii, from which she retired. She married Abraham Shon, now since deceased, and is survived by her daughter, Nadine, and son, David. Services are private. No monetary gifts. The family requests that donations be made to: St. Francis Hospice.
