MARLENE MICHALSKI
MARLENE MICHALSKI Marlene, a world class realtor, passed away on August 11, 2013. She was born in Wetaskiwin, Canada and attended graduate Nursing School at McGill University in Montreal. She worked as a head nurse at Royal Alexandria Hospital in Edmonton before moving in 1960 to Honolulu where she married John, a university professor and started a new profession as realtor and later vice president with Dolman Associates and continuing her career as a vice president with Coldwell Banker Pacific. To enhance her interior decorating skills Marlene earned a diploma from LaSalle Extension University. Marlene is survived by husband John and sisters Rena and Beverly. Marlene developed an international clientele here and while on her voyages around the world with her husband. The International Travel News awarded her and her husband the coveted "ITN 100 Nations Award" in recognition of having traveled to at least 100 independent nations. Private services will celebrate her life as her ashes will be scattered off of Waikiki.
