William Sherwood "Bud"Loeffler Jr., 82, of Hilo, a retired police officer, former liquor inspector for the County of Hawaii and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons William "Buddy," Lee and Daniel Loeffler; daughter Kathi Turner; brother Kenneth; sisters Leatrice Mahuna and Edna Mendonca; and numerous grandchildren. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
