Thomas Leo Horner, 97, of Honolulu, a retired Navy captain who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, and as chief of staff for the 14th Naval District, Pearl Harbor, died in Honolulu. He was born in Mohall, N.D., and was a senior account executive at Insurance Associates Inc. He is survived by wife Philomena T., sons Thomas M. and Thomas L. Jr., daughters Sandra M. Bourquin and Michele A. Horner, brother Paul, 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. No flowers.
