JERRY CARL KITAY Jerry Carl Kitay, 75, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 14, 1938, passed away August 20, 2013 in Honolulu, Hawaii where he resided. He was the son of Belle Kitay. He spent his childhood in San Diego, and later lived in Los Angeles, CA. He received his B. A. Degree from the University of The Pacific, Stockton, CA and his Masters Degree from Pepperdine University, Los Angeles, CA. He was a Marriage & Family Counselor, also a professor at the University of Hawaii, and a Businessman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Roybark Kitay and mother, Belle Kitay. He is survived by his daughter, Jill Pargoe of Honolulu; son Chad Kitay of Ramona, CA; two grandchildren, Logan and Harper Bledsoe of Honolulu; a sister, Phyllis Eckland and brother, Lee Kitay of California. Services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24th.
