71Natsuyo Hayase, 101, of Wailuku, proprietor of Hale Pua O Maui in Wailuku and Kahului, died in Hale Makua, Wailuku. She was born in Hana, Maui. She is survived by sons Chester, Jack and Melvin; daughters Joan Nishino, Trudy Akamine and Carolyn Hozaki; sisters Thelma Kondo and Esther Ueki; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
