Aug. 21, 2013 Thomas Leo Horner Sr., 97, of Honolulu, a retired Navy captain who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, chief of staff for COM14, CINCPAC Fleet, Pearl Harbor, and senior account executive at Insurance Associates Inc., died in Honolulu. He was born in Mohall, N.D. He is survived by wife Philomena T., sons Thomas M. and Thomas L. Jr., daughters Sandra M. Bourquin and Michele A. Horner, brother Paul, 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. No flowers. Incorrect information given in an obituary Friday.
