REV. JACK IAN HATTON Rev. Jack Ian Hatton, age 90, of Kansas City, MO, passed away August 23, 2013. Funeral to be held Thursday, August 29 at 12NOON CST at Floral Hills Funeral Home with visitation at 11AM CST. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Jack was born August 6, 1923 in Trenton, MO. Preceded in death by daughter Sharon Leilani Watanabe; father John Hatton; & mother Valeria Hatton. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Norma Lee Hatton; sons Bruce Hatton of Cameron, MO, & John Hatton of Long Island, NY; daughter Carol Lee Ramos (Larry) of Kansas City, MO; sister Rev. Jean Churchill of Honolulu, HI; grandchildren, great-grand- children, nieces, & nephews. Jack served in the US Army and was stationed in Burma & Calcutta, India in World War II. Upon returning from the war, he married Norma, and they moved to Hawaii to work as Christian missionaries in 1950. Jack served as a church pastor in Hawaii. When he retired from the ministry in 1987, a large part of his heart always remained in Hawaii. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
