Michael S. Kawamura, 84, of Pearl City, a retired civil engineer at Hickam Air Force Base and an Army Reserve retiree, died in Pearl City. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Frances; son Steve; daughters Wendy Kanamori, Debbie Nakano and Iris Ishikawa; sister Yoneko Torikawa; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
