81Valentina “Tina” Mahuna, 86, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired Mauna Kea Beach Hotel cook and Kentucky Fried Chicken employee in Waimea, Hawaii, died
at home. She was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. She is survived by son Calvert D.; hanai son Bert Imada; daughters Valarie Ann Santos and Iris M. Boteilho; hanai daughter Violet Nobriga; brother Thomas Ynigues; sisters Ruth Navalta, Mary Alfiler, Lucy Meyer, Ruby Hicks and Beatrice Narte; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa, Hawaii. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kukaiau County Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
