Takeji Yamashita, also known as "Take" and "Yama," 91, of Pearl City, a retired general foreman for Richard K.W. Tom Inc. and an Army veteran, died in Pearl City. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Ira, Glenn C. and Garret S.; daughters Lynette S. Suda and Iris E. Okimoto; sisters Rose Shimizu and Yaeko Hokama; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Pearl City. Services: 10 a.m. Inurnment: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers.
