John Yin Wo Ching, 74, of North Kohala,Hawaii, a certified welder, heavy equipment operator and rancher, died at home. He also was a Navy veteran. He was born in Kohala. He is survived by wife Patsy Ann; sons Wallace and Shane; daughter JohnelleKainoa; brothers Wilfred, William "Tammy" and Gilbert; sister Ruth Lee; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Kahua Ranch, Paniolo Lanai, in Kohala. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Inurnment at a later date. Lei and loose flowers welcome.
