Edward Masakatsu Tachikawa, 89, of Lihue, proprietor of Eddie's Upholstery and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Hale Kupuna Heritage Home. He was born inPuhi, Kauai. He is survived by daughters Ella Konno, Cheryl Tachikawa and Jan Yoshizu; brother Robert; sister Betty Steiger; and five grandchildren. Private celebration of life.
