74Emil K. "Papa" Rubin, 70, of Richmond, Calif., died in Honolulu. He was born in Kilauea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Cheryl A.; sons John G., Jeffrey K. and Emil I.; daughter Melanie K. Takayama; sisters Juanita Pendergras and Millie Wilson; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
