79Stanley Sobrado "Stan" Valencia, 73, of Hilo, a retired power plant operator at the former Pioneer Mill in Lahaina, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Ookala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Leona; daughters Cheryl Spray, Stephanie Valencia and Sharon Wlosinski; stepdaughters Melanie Chandler and Nyree Ballo; brothers Roger, Eugene and Alex; sister Lorraine Bailado; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
