81Bette Mae Barrett, 78, of Keaau, Hawaii, a professional seamstress and artist, died at home. She was born in Long Beach, Calif. She is survived by son Steven, daughter Elisa Adams, sister Shirley Thurston, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services.
