72Steven Masao Kuuleiipo Kalawa, 52, of Kapolei, a Matson longshoreman, died at home. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Velma; sons Steven, Adam and Jesse; daughter Jaclyn; father William "Jerry" Soares Sr.; brothers William "Gero" Jr. and Donald Soares; sisters Desiree Hicks, Denise Sorrow, Deirdra Wilson, Shandry Lozano and Franchesca Campbell; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 8:45 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
