Retired Civil Service for the Environmental Department of the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He is survived by wife, Doreen Dung-Pelekai; sons, Owen Kaulu Pelekai, Kainoa Pelekai, Shannon Kaala (Charnell) Pelekai; daughters, Kaai Clara (Leighton) Panui, Viola Kaipo (Gus) Pegge; brothers, Louie Pelekai, Sr., Henry Pelekai, Sr., Derrick Pelekai, Sr.; sisters, Florence Yelinek, Carol Pelekai; 15 grandchildren. Visitation 8:30 a.m. Monday (October 14) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Casual/Aloha Attire. No flowers, please.
