FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

CPT ALLEN ROY KOENIG
CPT ALLEN ROY KOENIG CPT ALLEN ROY KOENIG passed away peacefully on October 1, 2013 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina, children; Kahele, Kehaunani, Ku'ulani, Kamalu (Page) and five grandchildren. Born to Stanley G. Koenig and Gladys Akee-Choy on November 19, 1945 in Honolulu, Hawaii and survived by brother Dick (Gerry) Koenig and sister Raynel Foster. Roy was a 1963 graduate of Kamehameha Schools and a decorated Vietnam veteran. He served his country for 18 years as an Army nurse. Roy was a member of the Mililani Makule League and a proud member of the Pearl City Umpire Association. He was an innovative entrepeneur as well as a Fox News afficianado. Roy was a renegade and an exemplary pioneer of applied imagination. An endearing quality of Roy was his kolohe-like sense of humor which carried him and those around him through to the end.
